Expose the ABS unit. UK 2+2's have them in the o/s rear seat wheel arch/arm rest area. 2+0's I think, have them behind the drivers seat. In any case you probably need to remove the rear seat to access it. Then, start the car. (The ABS light should go out after starting.) If the ABS warning light doesn't come on drive at 20mph+ for a min. Once the error light comes on, stop the car (not the engine) and count the number of flashes on the ABS diag light (on the ABS unit). No flashes: 1. f left actuator solenoid 2. f right actuator solenoid 3/4. rear actuator solenoid circuit 5. f left wheel sensor circuit 6. f right wheel sensor circuit 7/8. rear wheel sensor circuit 9. motor/relay circuit 16+. ABS control unit error |
