Guest lazyday
Anybody out there got a Nearside Rear shock absorber for sale. Mines decided to explode so looking quite urgent......
Guest andyduff
You will need to specify Jap or UK spec - they are different ;) CheerZ, Andy
WillieO
Check Nissan with the part no. I seem to remember someone claiming the import shocks were really cheap from Nissan UK as in less than £50each whereas the 2 position Europe types are about £130 each. Oh and they are the same either side. Willie
AndyP
I know times may be hard etc but I really find it difficult to understand why people would want to buy secondhard parts that wear out so quickly, like shock absorbers (and brake disks etc) Peace
DaveW
You're spot-on there Andy, especialy as safety could be an issue here.... Dave

Hairsy
Just to add to the Group Emptying of your wallet, I wouldn't replace only one - always do an axle at a time. Dave

Guest Jez
15quid for a rear uk or rear jap (used) or 25quid for both. I'm around M40 J4 / M25 J16. I wouldn't advise replacing just one, although I have an odd set here (jap/uk) Jez.

Guest lazyday
Thanks for the replies..... You've talked me into a pair so come on guys the moneys waiting. Forgot to mention that the Z is a 1990/91 2+2 Jap standard suspension. Would like to upgrade but a 60,000 mile service on monday has left me potless at the moment. Looking for some quickly at the moment as it has exploded and left half the Iraqi oil reserve on my drive. Travel 60 miles a day so Jez or Andy please reply ASAP. Sorry took so long to come back, all work and no play makes Jack a sad Z owner....... Had the immobiliser unit die on my auto this week also, left stranded in park with no ignition. Nice..... Does anyone know a way round releasing the gearbox to allow the recovery vehicle to pull my Z onto the higher plain.. Guess its been a s**t week for us both so all help with the shocks will be greatly appreciated.
