  1. Congrats Nick. Yeah, never seen your car in person but having followed the build on social media stuff I'm well aware of what you've gone through on the build and I'm very impressed/jealous of the outcome. That's one lovely car and you deserve it for all the work you've done.
  2. I believe as a whole forums are taking a back seat to the ease of Facebook and it's numerous pages. It's now far easier to reach a much bigger audience of "keyboard mechanics" for advice. I myself am part of various zed pages on Facebook and I must say it's certainly nowhere near as close as a feeling of a community that is a dedicated forum like this. That being said, I know I am guilty of neglecting this forum in recent times but not for any particular reason other than being busy with other commitments.
  3. Your radio. You'll have both permanent and ignition live there.
  4. If you ask me I think the rise in Supra, Skyline and RX7 prices are all to do with Fast and the Furious 1 and 2. The youngsters that loved those movies when they came out are now adults and those cars are/were now within their reach hence the demand going up followed by the price.
  5. Couple months back me and a buddy made a Facebook page to document the stuff we do on our cars. We recently made it live so if you're interested take a look and give us a like. The zed gets a feature every now and then but there's also some other nice cars kicking about the workshop. https://www.facebook.com/PetrolHeads-Workshop-153537465307092/

  7. If they're only just too weak you could take the ballast weight out the hatch. That sorted mine out, haha. Been fine for years now.
  8. James Knight at J.R. Autotechnics in Weymouth, Dorset.
  9. Not that exact one but a friend of mine bought one of those. General cheap Chinese made ebay things. Does the job though. We started 3 cars in a row with it (didn't have any more with flat batteries at the time). I would definitely say worth it. Beats lugging around one the the classic massive jumper packs.
  10. A new social network for car people set up by The Grand Tour lot. Could take off quite well. Beats sifting throug faceache for car posts. Well I've jumped on it early. Here's my Tribe if you guys wanna take a look at the goings on in my car world... https://drivetribe.com/t/Wo6g9PT-SDGQOivTQxcz4g/KA1h7R65Ra-ANMEJnMJjjg
  11. I've seen pictures on the internets of the VG30DETT in a boat. That thing looked nuts!
