  1. Fitted my new oem nose panel today, well impressed with how quick he sent it... only ordered it yesterday! Its not a perfect colour match but fairly close and there are a few stone chips on i.t I'll get the car resprayed once I manage to get all the replacement parts I need anyway. Before and after pics:
  2. Agreed.... slowing changing the distasteful things the previous owner did. Not much more to do now really. Just replacing things like the original foam spolier which is starting to bobble, fix a couple paint issues and get rid of the horrendous cheap silver ripspeed cd player. I replaced my wheels for some from a 350z the other day, they have minor kerbing damage but I will get them refurbed and powder coated silver soon.
  3. Send him a text, he'll get back to you later. He's pretty much on his own at the garage at the mo
  4. I think Hartshead Moor services is between junction 25 & 26 of the M62 (North bound)?
  5. Still checking everytime I ride:detective:
  6. I can meet at Hartshead services at 2pm no probs! Looking forward to it now:clap:
  7. Welcome! I've got a LWB Jap import 300zx and I'm 6ft 3..... loads of room! My dads 6ft 6 and found it comfortable too. (Well in the front!)
  8. What time are you heading down on Friday Ian?
  9. Swapped my tatty buckled aftermarket wheels the car came with for some 18" staggered 350z wheels:hyper:
  10. Lol! The cheek... Think it'll be for sale for some time at that price
  11. Eeek! Its a good job you had it checked though:)
  12. The interior looks really tatty.... Mines by no means perfect and won't be for a long time but like you said Mondo, it would be nice if the value were that!
  13. Good.... was worried, but feel a lot more relaxed after reading all the comments. like I said, it drives nice and theres no strange noises
  14. Thanks guys.... I've been out in it again tonight. Drove really nice. Whilst engine was cool the gauge worked perfect... As soon as it reached operating temperature, the gauge literally died. Car runs fine though, and all fluids at correct levels. If I get a bit of time this weekend I might have a look at the sender.:thumbup1:
  15. Hi Stephen, where about on the engine is it? Any pics? Also, would this be the part: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Engine-Oil-Pressure-Sender-With-Gauge-Standard-PS-199-fits-85-96-Nissan-300ZX-/252055705601?hash=item3aafb0d801
  16. I want a water temp one anyway after the last blow up! I had no warning. All should be ok for next weekend though shouldn't it? I'm not taking it back to Lee's until the 19th
  17. How easy/hard is it to fit an oil pressure gauge. Is it something that I should be able to do? I am not a mechanic btw, can only do the basics
  18. So overall, am I right in saying as long as its got oil it should be ok?
  19. I have a full 5 litre bottle of both oil and coolant in the car:lol:
  20. Think I will get an oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauge installed soon
